Your Questions Answered

What should I expect during my picnic? We provide all of the elements noted in your package (and often more). You should expect to show up to a beautiful setting, a table set, ready to dine and enjoy.

I have a food allergy, can that be accommodated? Yes. All bookings should be made 48 hours prior to the day of your event. In order to book your event, you’ll need to complete the booking in-take form. Please share your allergy with us there.

Where should we park? Each Berkshire Picnics location is uniquely different. When you receive your booking confirmation email it will include parking directions/suggestions as well as any additional details about how to get to your picnic.

Does Berkshire Picnics stay at our location during the picnic? No. The Berkshire Picnic team will set up your picnic and will leave before you arrive unless we make other arrangements with you.

Should I include my young kids in the headcount? Listed fees include meals and beverages, glassware, plating, and silverware for two. Additional individuals are charged as noted. However, we don’t have a problem with you bringing your kids along knowing that they will share your food and perhaps bring their own. That’s free of charge. Be sure to let us know if you have children in tow so that we can think about that when we set up your experience.

How many people can I bring as additional guests? We create experiences for up to 6 guests at the pricing structure that we’ve outlined here. Parties of larger sizes can be accommodated, though — ask us for details!

I’m proposing/we’d love to capture pregnancy shots/or we’re celebrating another special moment, can I add a photographer? Yes! Abigal Fenton Photography may be available for your event, and if she’s not, we partner with plenty of other talented photographers. Ask us for details.

How do I pay? We currently accept PayPal, Venmo, and Zelle.

Can I cancel my reservation if needed? Yes. However, you will not receive a full refund.

Is there a cancellation fee? 50% of your booking fee. We only accept a certain number of picnics per day and it’s important that if we turn others away for your time slot we can still pay our staff.

What about bad weather? Weather is unpredictable, we understand this. If it looks like rain, we’ll be in communication the morning of your experience to share your options and make a plan.

How do I submit my proof of age? Good point. We will request that you send a copy of your Drivers License or Identification card for our records.
